This special event is for customers who have booked a trip in the past on Alyosha and sailed with us in Ocean City, Maryland. There is no "start time" for this event, just a period of time when Captain Steve will open up Alyosha and allow customers to check out the boat and envision themselves on an extended vacation on the boat!

We will bring out many of the "toys" available, have each of the four staterooms ready for show and spend time doing extensive Q & A with those customer who want to know more about what it looks like to spend time leisurely cruising the islands- or crossing oceans!- aboard Alyosha.

Alyosha will stay docked for the duration of the event, we won't go sailing or cruising... (we might have a special treat for visitors!) so this is the time to talk provisioning and get a sense of how much space is available for you when you cruise aboard for more than a day sail!

This event will last for three hours- you can come anytime but allow yourself at least 15 minutes onboard (ie Don't come with 5 minutes left in the event as we likely will be heading out after the event for a sail)

There is only a physical limit to how many customers we can have on the boat at one time (kind of like a boat show) so we will plan to have a little waiting area (if necessary- we have no idea how popular this might be) to make sure guests are able to move around the boat.

If you have enjoyed sailing with us in the past and have friends, neighbors or family members you want to share your experience with: Please bring them! Oftentimes, we hear from people who have come sailing with us that they weren't sure about going sailing on a catamaran and whether or not it would be comfortable- this is the ideal time to show them the boat/experience that you have come to love!

When you book this to signal you are coming, please let us know how many people are coming (using the seats mechanism when booking).

Aligned with the goal of ensuring all Sail Alyosha customers have a great experience, we will only run trips that are deemed safe by our Captains. Generally, the weather on the coast of the Ocean City area is very pleasant but sometimes storms and thunderstorms do occur.

In the event that your trip is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. Sometimes, the weather conditions, particularly high winds causing choppy seas, will allow us to run a safe trip that is a bit unpleasant.

Our captains will always strive to let people know when conditions will be less than ideal and if conditions warrant a possible refund you may choose to not take the trip. (But sometimes those rough passages make for the best experiences!)
